Steam Train 745

CCC Road Montz La

Gayle and I were out early to photo Steam Engine 745 passing on a test run to Baton Rouge. It was built in New Orleans in 1921. Thanks Scott for letting us know about the run and all the updates as it traveled to BR. LSTA web site is http://www.lasta.org/ . Another excellent shot taken by Scott Schexnaydre can be seen at http://www.pbase.com/sschex/image/74094979 . He has many more pictures of 745 in his gallery.

Great shot, Breland. I missed it at my station this morning. Morning traffic caught me on the Airline. I was soooo disappointed.

Great photo, thanks for making it a P-A-D. Thanks also for linking the LASTA site to the photo, we need as many fans to join as possible. It does cost money - big money- to keep her rolling. It is after all 80 YEARS OLD !!! and still working. Most of us
over 50 remember seeing her parked at Audubon Park when we were younger.

No problem, Breland. Thanks to "Trap" for letting me know about it.

Wonderful, that is the old engine that was in Audubon Park. It is great to see it running again.
