Black Bear

Cades Cove, Tenn.

This is the bear that crossed the road on Gayle, http://www.pbase.com/gpc/image/64201652 . I was only able to get two shots and this was the best one. Pbaser Richard might have a better one.

Nice image. Was it a yearly? Hard to tell scale. I haven't seen any this year around here. Good catch.

Great shot~!

I got closer, Breland, but my best shot had a big bunch of weeds right in front of his face! We'll just have to use yours as proof that we saw the bear! :)) Best to you, Dick:)

None of those in my wood Breland. I am not sure I would have the nerve to take the photo!

This image really captures the "feel" of that area. It is beautiful. The bear in the scene is the icing on the cake.

What luck to be able to see this. A nice, quick shot.

Cool shot. That's how I like to see them. Far away. :) Beautiful woods.

You barely got the bear, but Gayle will have to bear with you since she barely missed the shot.
