Cassias

Montz, Louisiana

I have forgotten the name of this fall flower. I'm sure some one knows it. Thanks to Laine for confirming the name. This is a large group of tropicals and they come in different shapes , sizes and color.

What an intricate, interesting little flower and you photographed it beautifully. The leaves remind me of a plant in the Cassia family, the Candlestick tree.

Thanks for confirming Laine. I had narrowed it down to a Cassias but there are many varieties and I have not found a picture like this one.

Hi Bre, I think you have one of the Cassias. We have the same plant here that grows very easily & is always such a bright yellow. Love the little drooping branch.

At least we can be reasonably certain it's not called DSC_6301 sm72! Beautiful color combination and such nice shallow DOF. Very pleasing.
