Dubrovnik, Croatia

The walled city of Dubrovnik, Croatia was one of the first of many walled cities that we saw. Each one has there own unique style and interesting history. I have posted more pictures at http://www.pbase.com/bre/europe_cruise . It will take me the rest of the week to finish all of them.

I visited Dubrovnik when it was still Yugoslavian and still remember the genuine sense of hospitality the natives offered. It's a beautiful old city. This shows it.

I've heard lots of good things about that part of the Adriatic coast and the City of D. As I recall there was a large earthquake there years back. Still signs of it?
