Took a walk to the backend of our property and found this spider lily in full bloom. We call them spider lilies but they are a form of wild crinum.

I like the way you caought the flower standing out over the dark green background. All along the tracks from the yard to Michoud they're in bloom. Great photo.

You have such beautiful flowers in LA. Ours haven't even bloomed yet...in fact, there under a few inches of snow right now! Gorgeous image!

Aptly named flower. It's a beauty.

Beautiful... such rich green, and the detail in the flower has held up well.

Breland, I love this. They have been herbicided so much that we have only a few left. Today, one of our guests came back with a handful of the blooms from the coulee' and said "Miss Coleen, look what I found." Ahhhhgggg.
