I liked this picture even though the flower is the scourge of Louisiana. They completely block waterways from boat passage and block sunlight to bottom vegetation which causes other problems. A huge mass can be very beautiful in spring bloom. A hard freeze sets them back but there are always a few that survive and they multiply quickly in our summer heat.
