Out of all the shots I took @ Mammoth Motocross last summer (2006) This one is my favorite. The awkwardness of the rider struggling to hold and correct his bike, his twisted foot trying to level him out, the huge spray of dirt flying in his wake, and the crispness of it all (view original for full size). Sadly though.. The trucks in the background render this shot useless for anything other then my own admiration.. Ah well.. Originally when I shot these photos I really like the companion shot of this Click Here for companion shot but over time I came to prefer this one, even though the rider is in poorer form. If there was ONE photo I could replace the background on, it would be this one.... This year I'm looking for a new burm to shoot with hopefully trees in the background!
