...for as long as I've been shooting, I've always had a habit of getting in the way of my subjects.. I've had skiers, and snowboarders fall off jumps or rails and land on me, skateboarders crash into me ect.. but I've never done something as dumb as I did when taking these water fall photos.. I hiked out into the middle of the water fall walking across slippery moss covered rocks...and set my tripod up on a plateau, wedging it between rock and water.. and stood out there with my shoes soaking wet, while trying to get some long exposures from different angles.. sure, I slipped a couple times (but was able to catch myself), ya I almost dropped my gear.. but some how I didn't.. had I stepped in the wrong places, or just spaced out and not payed attention (something I'm great at) me or my gear could have been sent flying over the water fall.. ..sadly though while I did get some shots that I really liked, that shot I wanted to get just didn't come out right.. sigh guess I'm going to have to go back and do it again ;)
