Ok folks, this good looking fellow is 66 years old,and now is just back from the hell. One of the last built in Leningrad factory during 1953,the last year of production of Jupiter lenses with peoples, machinery and materials(also rare earth for the lenses) deported from Germany after WWII. He has some focus elicoid troubles, then I had it dismounted, clean, adjusted and lubricated totally. Now is good in shape and fully functional. The lens rendition is spectacular. No defects,no scratches,fungus....all is running ok! This KMZ Jupiter 8, 50mm f/2 "Red P" type,Leica 39mm thread mount, is a copy of the Carl Zeiss Sonnar, with the lenses manufactured with genuine german's rare earth. One of the last....lost in the time.
