i am an ilocano and i actually belong to the "bago" tribe. usually when we have our cultural fiestas,we also perform igorot dances.
i love the igorot people and i really enjoy watching their dances. i hope the young generation of igorot tribes will continue to value their culture..because it actually saddens me to find out that some are not even familiar with their own dances and practices.
if only i can be borne again, i wish to be an igorota.
