This weekend, my friend and I decided to take advantage of the 50+ degree temperatures and shoot some pictures. Unlike our other outings though, we left all our gear at home with one goal in mind: leave the house with nothing, and come home with pictures for around $15. I figured we'd hit the thrift stores for cameras, the drug store for film, and then off to the local Walmart for developing. It probably wouldn't be great photography, but it would definitely be fun!

Well, I came up a little short on my goal. When it was all said and done, it probably cost me around $20 per roll of film, but that's my fault too. Instead of shooting the $2 a roll RiteAid brand color film, I splurged for the $4 a roll C41 processed Kodak black and white. That's not a surprise though as you already know I'm a sucker for black and white. I also wanted all our fine images on CD as well, so that added to the development costs. Whatever! It was still a lot of fun, and well worth it.

Just as an aside, my camera cost a whopping $5. Right next to it was a Canon EOS Rebel 2000... for $4. And yes, it left the shop with us.
