Nördlingen is a city in Bavaria. It is surrounded by Germany's only completely preserved and fully accessible city wall. A walk along the 2.7 kilometer long fortifications offers a wonderful view of the medieval streets. The center of the old town is the imposing building of the Gothic St. George's Church with its tower, called Daniel. From the top of the tower you have a panoramic view of the city. The town hall with its gabled roof and turret is part of an ensemble of medieval buildings and half-timbered houses around the market square.
