The sculpture is part of the Wittelsbach Fountain on Lenbachplatz in Munich.
It represents an allegory of the "sensual power of water," often interpreted as "Europa riding the bull."
The fountain was designed by the sculptor Adolf von Hildebrand between 1893 and 1895.
