The (Old Crane) in Bamberg, a historic harbor crane on the banks of the Regnitz River. Located in the "Am Kranen" district, the crane dates back to the 15th century.
It was formerly used to load and unload ships in the Bamberg harbor. The historic site was once a central port that held great importance due to the right of staple.
