A German version was created under the title Das alte Haus von Rocky-Docky by Kurt Feltz and sung by Bruce Low, with first publication in 1955,
which was again covered by Peter Kraus in 1981. In Germany today, the version released in 1981 by Shakin' Stevens is best known.
