Since 2006, the "Day of the Franconia" has been celebrated alternately in the three districts of Lower, Middle and Upper Franconia on the first Sunday in July
by resolution of the Bavarian state parliament. After Bad Windsheim, the Franconian national holiday will be celebrated in Wunsiedel next year.
