The Luitpoldstraße is an inner-city street in Weißenburg in Bavaria, a large district town in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen. It forms the largest square in Weißenburg's old town, which is under ensemble protection. The earlier name Holzmarkt stems from the fact that firewood and construction wood for handicrafts used to be stored here. Today it is named after the royal Bavarian Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria.
