The Fürstengarten was built from 1650 to 1700 in the style of the hidden Renaissance gardens of Italy ("giardini secreti") by Elector Johann Philipp von Schönborn. It is arranged geometrically with fountains, flower beds and pavilions and beautiful sculptures.
