The old town with a monument of Christoph von Schmid, from August 15, 1768 in Dinkelsbühl; † September 3, 1854 in Augsburg). He was a Roman Catholic priest, writer and poet of hymns. He is considered the most successful children's book author of his time. One of his songs, which is still well-known today,
is the Christmas song Little Children Come, which is popular all over the world.
