Die Sauerkirsche oder Weichselkirsche, in Altbayern, Österreich und der Schweiz oft kurz Weichsel genannt, (Prunus cerasus)
ist eine Pflanzenart aus der Familie der Rosengewächse (Rosaceae). Sie wird als Obstbaum genutzt.
