Here in Texas, we use pecans for pies and save the berries for COBBLER. I just love elderberry cobbler with vanilla ice-cream! YUM!

I love elderberries and my neighbor used to make elderberry pies. It takes a lot of berries to make a pie! I have not seen them in years and years! A fond remembrance!

I first saw this flower in England last year and loved it. Never saw the berries then, so thank you Boris. I have since tried it as tea. Very nice too

Sambucus nigra - European black elderberry, this shrub is very common in Poland, the black fruits are traditionally used as tea, jelly, juice or syrup. And elderberry wine, of course!
