Very cool - reminds me of the library in Hespler (Cambridge) Ontario where they glassed in an old Carnegie library and turned the outside walls into inside ones. It was a very controversial project, but did two things for that part of Cambridge - it created more space (much needed) in the library, and preserved the old building (something that people in North America need to do more often in my opinion.)
