Taking this image (and another 4 hours of color data) required driving to the Negev Desert and back (540 km each time) for two nights in a row...
From the "quick and dirty" stacks done in the field, it was already evident that the perfect seeing, transparency and temperature has allowed
the OS Veloce a particularly deep view into the the treasure trove surrounding NGC 2170. So, here's a very first version of the luminance stack
- no processing whatsoever - just a quick view of the data.
I have chosen to name it "The Morning After" image...
