Our next destination was the Pink City- Jaipur. With a pouplation of almost 2 million, it contrasts between modern india and traditional Rajasthan. Within the confines of the old city, you can feel swept up in the tide of humanity!

The city was founded in 1727 by the great warrior-astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743).
