This is called "Spider Rock"
That canyon's best-known feature is Spider Rock, a sandstone spire that rises more than 700 feet from the floor of the canyon. It's named for Spider Woman, a key figure in Navajo lore, and said she lived at the base of this rock alone in the early years of the Navajo occupation of the area. She was known for casting her web-like net to capture and eat misbehaving children!
Also used as a scene in the movie "The Trial of Billy Jack" (1974)
