Yes, there was a period in Spain's history when the Moros, Jews and Catholics all got along very well. This is the Real Alcazar and was originally the palace of the sultan when the Moros ruled most of the Iberian Peninsula. So for a period of time the Catholic Royal Family had no problems living in the grandeur of a former Muslim palace.
