What a fantastic shot. This is one of those shots that just sums up a place in so many ways... The peniche barges on the edge of the Seine, the Pont d'Austerlitz if I am not mistaken and the famous iron lady constructed by Eiffel for the 1889 World's Fair... The paved riverside, the man with the bike and the fashionable lady waiting patiently... This... my friend, is Paris... summed up.

If you are familiar with french, good. If not I say you are in Paris in the wrong season... if this picture was shot in July. In my opinion , as one that goes to Paris, almost every year , summer is not the good season to visit Paris. April, Mai, September, October-to get there the Indian summer - November up to Xmas.Summer, only tourists,too many people , Paris i
