RODRIGUES Port Mathurin and North/West

The Island of Rodrigues is part of Mauritius. It is located 600 KM east of the main island. (1 1/2 hour by turboprop.) The island is much smaller and has a quite different "feel" than Mauritius.

hello, I have recently visited Rodrigues for work and to be honest I fell in love with the island. The one lesson that i learned is that the people of rodrigues takes time to appreciate life and appreciate the warmth of others and no mention of the beautiful pleaces. I will definitely be back.

Hi People I have been to Rodrigues in 2003 and the people were amazing and so friendly. I loved my visit and cant wait to go back in July 2006 to meet an old flame who I met. What a peaceful, tranquil setting - time has no meaning. This can be frustrating if you are used to the hustle and bustle of everyday life in a city like Cape Town
