The tall ship Eagle is a United States Coast Guard training vessel for officer cadets. It was built in 1936 in Germany as the Horst Wessel, a training ship for the German Navy. The United States obtained the ship as a war prize at the end of World War II and gave it to the Coast Guard Academy.
