These pictures were taken at Marwell Zoological Park near Winchester UK on a sunny day in early May, 2007, in order for me to gain more experience with my new FZ50 camera. Marwell is involved with several breeding programs for endangered species and many unusual birds and animals can be seen there. Unfortunately, I forgot to note down the names of some of the animals I photographed!

The camera was set to 5MP resolution to enable experiments with the extended optical zoom of 17x.
