Beamish is an outdoor Museum located 8 miles south west of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in northern England. It occupies 300 acres of land and various areas are set out to replicate life in the mid-1800s, the early 1900s and a farm in the 1940s. Fortunately, there is a free shuttle service of vintage trams and buses to take visitors around the various parts of the Museum.
