M3 is an outstanding globular star cluster in Canes Venatici.
Containing an estimated 500,000 stars it shines at mag 6.2 and has an apparent size of 18 arc minutes

Celestron C11 at F/6.3 and CGE mount
ST-4 guided through an 80ED at 600mm
Canon 300D
Dark and flat calibrated
Taken on 5-24-07 with a 50% illuminated moon
