A surprise catch in the SH2-124 image is this extremely faint planetary nebula LDû 1 (upper left in frame)
It was discovered on August 19th 2011 by the French Astronomer Pascal Le Dû. This planetary nebula is extremely dim at mag 21.36 and 2.2 arc minutes diameter.
