Common Loons in Snow Squall

Three Common Loons that were seen on the lake at Bald Eagle State Park, December 29, 2011 during a snow squall. I was standing on the old Rt 220 where it emerges from the water, across the lake from the Howard boat launch, when these three loons started to swim towards my location. A snow had just begun to fall. I shot many images as the loons swam closer. When I opened the files at the computer, I noticed though sharp, the images had a soft, diffuse look, probably from the light scattering effect of the falling snow. I sharpened the images about 65% and added a little blue color to the almost monochrome images with a number 80 photo filter in Photoshop; the painterly, dream-like results are presented below.
