This bird was photographed with a Nikon D7000 and Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 AF-D lens, with a Kenko 1.5x teleconverter. I was fairly close but these photos have been cropped quite a bit, as this falcon is Robin-sized.

The falcon was perched along Rt. 150, just past the intersection with Marsh Creek Rd. I was able to walk within 50 feet, on the shoulder of the highway.
