Long-tailed Duck

While birding at Bald Eagle State Park, PA on December 29, 2019 for the local Christmas Bird Count, this lone, female Long-tailed Duck (Clangula hyemalis) was spotted with a flock of Common Mergansers and Hooded Mergansers on a stretch of open water on the iced over Sayers Lake.
