Birds at Curtin Wetland, near Curtin Village, PA

This gallery will showcase some of the birds that can be seen at Curtin Wetland, a constructed marsh, that has been maturing for 12 years now, I believe. Local marshes can offer up lots of photo ops for the nature photographer. All you need is some decent equipment, practice and lots of patience. Good insect repellent and a pair of calf-high rubber boots doesn't hurt either!
To start off this gallery are some of the different native sparrows that can be found in the marsh, and a very well known bird, the Red-winged Blackbird.
