good day in both Zavala and Uvalde County with John W. Vanderpool who is going for big year.
Started in Walmart parking lot for Bronzed Cowbird...went to Zavala County for some birds there and returned to Cook's Slough and National Fish Hatchery...then went to Reagan Wells to get Sandy's Rufous Hummingbird and finished at Neal's for Rufous-crowned Sparrow and Merlin. Fun day...John is going for 700 birds..."Big Year" I got about five more birds for my 500 photo'd year list.
