The former guided-missile submarine USS Growler returns to the Intrepid Museum pier after a two-year absence. Members of the New York City base of United States Submarine Veterans Inc., are on hand to welcome her home. (The young guys are off USS Bataan, an amphibious assault ship intown for the Veteran's Day weekend. They came over to ask what it was like sailing The Ark.)
