St. John's United Church of Christ Near Peterson, Iowa - Advent & Christmas - 2004 & 2005 and Into 2006

The Sunday School Youth and Teachers of St. John's United Church of Christ presented their annual Christmas Program on December 12, 2004. The young people performed instrumental solos -- and then presented their play about "A Mysterious Christmas Card." A gathering in the lower hall followed, with a Christmas Sing-Along and Christmas goodies. It was a truly wonderful evening -- and these youngsters are talented, poised and outgoing.

Rev John Jans was your first minister. The Jans family reunion will be held this weekend June 27-29,2008 in Elmhurst, IL. We are wondering how the church is doing. We were glad to find you on the web. We believe you will be celebrating your 120th anniversary in August. Greetings from the Jans Family.

These are wonderful photos. They really capture the whole meaning of the program. The kids really worked hard and will appreciate seeing themselves in action.
