Early Years to Now of Bob and Sue Grupp and Family

Sue's parents are Wendell and Lucille (Dean) Lambert — and Bob's parents are Carl and Bess (Owen) Grupp. They were wonderful parents, and the memories are sweet indeed.

We met at the University of Dubuque and married right after I graduated from the university in 1950.

It's of some photographic interest that most of the photos I shot in late high school and college were taken with my first 35 mm camera — a Mercury II half frame camera. These include the photos of Susan above the Mississippi River in Dubuque. The format gave extraordinary depth. Anybody ever have one of those?

Beautiful photos. Terold Tilton is my paternal grandfather, the photos of him in 1944 look just like my father when he was younger. I found your site while trying to Google Terold's marital history. If you happen to know anything about that, and are willing to share the information, I would appreciate it.
