The Gilbert Riparian Preserve is a 122 acre wildlife preserve located at the corner of Greenfield and Guadalupe Roads in Gilbert, AZ. There is one small lake and 7 marshland ponds that attract myriad winter visitors, as well as permanent desert dwellers. Various vegetative habitats, representative of those in different locations in Arizona, have been created. With wide pathways encircling the ponds, rest areas and ramadas, it is a great place to spend an afternoon without leaving the Phoenix Metro area.
