I have no clue if I am related to this fellow or not but it would not surprise me. He is one of those
who died at the Alamo fighting Santa Ana and this is on the monument to those men. Most of the Floyds
that I know of are descended from three brothers who all came over from England together. They
settled various portions of VA, TN and TX. There was a fourth brother but he was hung in Liverpool
for piracy...there is one in every family isn't there?
