11/4 - Offending the Plumbing Gods

Home, Bathroom

Every have one of those days where you look at a task on your list and think to yourself "this will
take 30 to 45 minutes tops" only to have it take 4 or 5 hours and 3 trips to Home Depot? Today was
one of those days for me. I must have offended the plumbing gods somehow...

Your shot obviously proves you're not a qualified plumber. If you were the top of your ass (arse) would be hanging out!!!

Hope you got it fixed eventually. :) Fun shot, though.

Sorry for your bad luck, man! Appropriate shot though!

Sometimes its just easier to replace the whole thang ;-)

The mistake as i see it was assuming it would only take one trip to Home Depot. That's just not possible.

No Bob, that IS plumbing! Also, getting out most of your tools only to use one or two is not uncommon. My experience in plumbing is that, unlike some other areas, there seems not to be a good tool to be had for whatever your task is! And then there is what it does to your back...

Yes! I heard that you work at home, Bob!

Ouch! Sorry to hear, sir. I learned at a young age from watching my dad that whatever he estimated the time on a project to be, I would multiply it by at least 3, maybe 4. I still do that for my own projects. Sadly, more often than not, it is right.
