9/7 - Challenge: What Is It?

Home, Office

My entry into the Informal Thursday Transglobal Challenge themed "What Is It?!?"

This challenge was made more difficult in that I broke my tripod recently and it will not hold my
camera up reliably now. You just don't know how much you depend on those things till they don't work.

Please check out these other great folks asking that same question:

A lovely flask, I'm thinking. Hopefully empty so that it doesn't lose a single drop by accident since its on it's side!

Fine b&w and a great miracle. I have no idea. Very well done.

I'm with Scott and I do think it is a great shot as well. Not sure what that says about those of us who got it right off ; )

I recognized the shape as something I'd seen before, but I have to admit that I didn't know until I saw the others' answers. Definitely a flask, but I wouldn't have guessed without help. Surprisingly enough.

Wonderful shot. Like Shaggy, Daniel, and others of that crowd, I recognized it right away. Still love it, though.
