I took a personal day today to go down to the school to help out my wife with Field Day. She is the
Physical Education teacher and so is in charge of it. During my break from running the Water Balloon
Volleyball game I got some shots of the kids throwing water soaked sponges at each other. We are
pretty sure they had no clue they were getting more water on themselves when they threw then they were
by getting hit. :-)

And despite what it may appear like in the photo there was no rain until after Field Day ended. All
the wet ground is the result of some 600 kids participating in the span of about 5 hours.

BTW, this is the first "action" photography I have done since my year on the yearbook staff in
college. Harder than I remember.
