3/8 - The Calm Before

Before there was photography there was chess...my other vice. I don't play as much as I would like anymore (the camera is a jealous mistress).
Now I collect more than I play. This one was a present from my wife.

I am teaching my son, slowly, Bob. We have the superheroes version as well as one provided as a courtesy for taking care of a friend's dog. I love the game. Maybe via e-mail or something. Luke

I love interesting chess sets. It's fun to lookforthem,and it's fun todisplay them. I found I couldn't play on them, however. I couldn't remember which piece was what!
