The Jefferson Memorial, 2AM
This was shot on film back in late 80's (not sure of the year) while I was still in college and taking photography classes. An old high school buddy who was also into it and I decided to go shoot around DC at night for practice. I got a lot of what I thought then to be good shots but this was the one that I thought was best. It is one of the very last shots I took that night too as only minutes after I got this we witnessed one drug deal and one pimp with a couple of his girls right there around the Tidle Basin and decided that was no place for a couple of country kids with several thousand dollars worth of camera gear.

Love the reflection and the light shining on the memorial..
I was born a city girl.. but living in the country for 25 years has changed everything.
