Here are "behind-the-scenes" photos taken when we visited the Brookside community of Gawad Kalinga and then a neighboring community around the Payatas garbage dump after that. It's easy telling both apart: Brookside has colored houses in neat rows, Payatas is filled with run-down shanties and muddy walkways. The folks at GK, what a difference they have done. looking forward to a lot of great photos from this photo opp bobby.

i've seen for myself how GK makes a difference in people's lives. i've visited some sites in baseco and paranaque. you can see the stark contrast between the new GK sites and their old communities. i hope and pray for the continued uccess of this noble cause.
