We woke-up at 4:30am and drove to Tukon where they had an old radar on top of a hill. It was too dark to see and we fiddled in the dark, hoping to get a good spot. As the sky lit-up the landscape shortly before sunrise, we all suddenly realized the beauty was in the foreground: green verdand hills set at the foot of a huge dark mountain (Mr. Iraya, I think.) The relatively clear horizon guaranteed a great sunrise shot, but those of us caught without strong graduated-density filters were out of luck! What paradise!
